End of Summer Bash: BBQ Throwdown

13 cooks from across the state competed yesterday in Mauldin

One of the highlights of yesterday'd End of Summer Bash was the BBQ Throwdown. 13 cooks toiled through the night in an effort to impress an esteemed group of judges. Their expertise was needed as the competition was the tighest that any of the judges could remember. With the maximum score being 17, the 13 cooks were separated by only 1.17 points. The top three finishers earned $250, $500 and $750, respectively.

They were:

1. Michael Harmon of Palmetto Smokehouse with a score of 15.45
