The first Josh Howard/Trevor Booker Truballers 5on5 Tournament held earlier this month would have to be considered a success even though the weather was not particularly cooperative. The four-day tournament was moved inside for three of those days due to the threat of thunderstorms. But the turnout was strong as basketball fans from throughout the Upstate came to watch teams from all over the Southeast compete for the $5,000 first prize. When the dust settled the winning squad was 1-8 Live from West Palm Beach, Fla. They edged Bad Boyz out of Marion in the title game.
