Fresh off successful campaigns on the field, three Mauldin High coaches were recognized off the field. They were named coach of the year in their sport by the South Carolina Coaches Association. Mauldin High had the most coaches honored of any school any in the state. They are:
Kevin Czar – Girls Soccer
Laura Gurley – Girls Tennis
