Godbey Kicks Off Re-Election Campaign

Seeking re-election on November 8

Mauldin Mayor Don Godbey kicked off his re-election campaign on Saturday morning by hosting a group of volunteers at the Jack Geer Library on West Butler Road.

Volunteers met with Godbey to coordinate get-out-the-vote efforts in advance of the election, which is November 8.

“We had a good, diverse turnout,” Godbey said. “New residents, long-term residents, white, black and Hispanic. That’s what Mauldin is, so I feel good about that. “
