Gowdy's Stops This Week in the Upstate Focus On Law Enforcement

Mixed with business visits

This week Congressman Trey Gowdy will be making numerous visits to locations throughout the Upstate. On Monday, he stopped by the as well as the Kemet Plant grand opening. While Gowdy businesses visits are one the agenda, law enforcement groups will receive the bulk of his attention. He released the following statement in advance of his visit:

“The respect and admiration I had for law enforcement as a federal and state prosecutor remains as strong as ever. While I am still able to stay in contact with many of my friends in all three solicitor's offices, the various law enforcement offices and the county courthouses, it is important to me to stop by their workplaces and continue to seek to understand the challenges they face everyday and offer again my unfailing respect for their courage and commitment to a better community.”
