Greenville Co. Schools Seeks Public Input on New Superintendent

Starting tomorrow, Greenville County Schools will seek the public’s input in the process to select a replacement for Dr. Phinnize Fisher, who will retire later this school year.

The district will conduct five forums in all at the following times and locations:

Wednesday, November 30, 6:00 - 7:00 PM

• - 701 East Butler Road, Mauldin, 29662
• Travelers Rest High School – 301 North Main Street, Travelers Rest, 29690
  

Thursday, December 1, 6:00 - 7:00 PM

• Greenville Senior High School – 1 Vardry Street, Greenville, 29601
• Greer High School – 3000 East Gap Creek Road, Greer, 29651
• Woodmont High School – 2831 West Georgia Road, Piedmont, 29673

This phase of the process will include forums for District employees and small group meetings with selected leaders of parent, community, student and employee groups. An online survey to collect input will be available on the district's website, www.greenville.k12.sc.us, beginning November 29 through January 10. Copies of the survey will also be available at the public and employee forums.
