Haley Grades Mauldin's Reps...

Yesterday Gov. Nikki Haley delivered on her campaign promise to give report cards to the state’s legislators. The announcement was made in Rock Hill, the first stop in Haley's seven-city tour of South Carolina. The House members who represent the Mauldin area fared pretty well. Bruce Bannister, Eric Bedingfield and Garry Smith, all Republicans, received A’s. Karl Allen, a Democrat received a D. Allen was one of only three Democrats not to be given an F.

State Senator David Thomas, a Republican, received an A, while Ralph Anderson, a Democrat, received an F.

Haley’s Honor Roll fell mostly along party lines as no Democrat received a higher grade than a C and no Republican received an F.

Democrats in the legislature issued Haley a report card of their own. They gave her an F.
