What's happening off Woodruff Road

Santa's Helpers Holiday Fair – On Friday, November 18 from 3 – 6 PM in the gym, will host a holiday fair sale with venders including Avon, Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Thirty one, The Polka Dot Monogram, Lia Sophia and homemade craft vendors. Light snacks will be offered and some great gifts will be raffled off. A percentage of all sale profits will be donated to Langston. The public is invited to attend. Contact Leah Einhorn (423-0279) with any questions, or if you would like to set up a table as a vendor.

Lottery Results for 2012 -2013 School Year - The lottery for the 2012-2013 school year admissions was held at 5:00 p.m on November 8, 2011 and the results are posted at the school. Families of students who were accepted are responsible for completing an Enrollment Packet and scheduling their Family Intake Conference to complete the enrollment process. Enrollment Packets will be available to students qualified in the lottery beginning November 11, 2011.  Completed packets will be due to the school office by 5:00PM on Friday December 9, 2011.

Celebrate the Child Toy Drive -  Langston 6th grader, Josie Hollingsworth, and 7th grader, Isaac Lipe are collecting new toys for children ages birth – 12 years old and valued at $5 - $15 to brighten the lives of children in need. Collection tubs will be located in buildings A and B until November 18.

Serve Fest Food Drive– Langston 6th grader, Tristan Isaac, is collecting food to be donated to needy families for Thanksgiving through local project “Serve Fest.” Suggested donations include: chicken & rice soup, spaghetti noodles, cream of chicken soup,  spaghetti sauce, saltine crackers, and bags of rice.  Serve Fest containers are located at the front office and at the morning drop off line.  Donations will be accepted until November 18 and items will be delivered to families on November 19.

Charter High School Night – On Tuesday, December 6 from 6pm – 7pm representatives from all three charter high schools will be in the Langston gym to give a brief presentation and answer questions about the Greenville County charter
