Local Groups Benefit from BI-LO Boostersplus Program

$37,000 raised for 27 groups throughout the Upstate.

Om Monday, it was announced that several local groups were among the 27 organizations that benefited from the BI-LO Charities’ boostersplus® program.

During a presentation at The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Greenville, the following groups received donations:

  • Mauldin High School PTSA ($1,500).
  • J.L. Mann High School PTSA ($1,370.94).
  • Connie Maxwell Children’s Home ($1,043.52).

Funds are raised from BI-LO, which donates 1% of boosterplus® members' grocery purchases to the charity of their choice.

Simpsonville Elementary School ($1,135.41), Boy Scout Troop #159 ($1,500), Fountain Inn Elementary School ($1,234.24), Woodmont High School PTSA ($1,500), Rocky Creek Baptist Church ($1,500), Concerned Citizens for Animals ($1,377.85), Boy Scout Troop #48 ($1,500), Miracle Hill Ministries ($1,500), Blue Ridge High School AFJROTC ($1,113.74), SC Foothills Search & Rescue ($1,500), North Greenville Food Crisis Ministry ($1,200.86), Berea High Recycling Drill Team ($1,500), San Souci Baptists Church ($1,101.41), Strides Tutoring ($1,033.25), Berea High AFJROTC ($1,500), Boy Scout Troop #210 ($1,500), Wren High School NJROTC Boosters Club ($1,500), Opportunity Care Palmetto Baptist Association ($1,500), Boy Scout Troop #53 ($1,500), Sexual Trauma & Counseling Center of Greenwood ($1,500), Habitat for Humanity – Greenwood ($1,500), Foothills Conservatory of Performing Arts($1,500), Wilderness Way Camp School ($1,500), Spartanburg Cross Country Teams ($1,500)
