The season is off to a fine start for the girls basketball team. The squad improved to 8-0 with a win over Broome yesterday in Spartanburg at the Bojangles Holiday Bash. In addition, seniors Tori Whittenberg and Morgan Alexander have both cleared the 1,000 point barrier in total career. The Lady Mavs will try to win the Bojangles tournament today when they take on Spartanburg.
