Police Search for Missing Mauldin Mother, Child

Police seek public's help

Mauldin Police are asking residents to be on the lookout for 20 year-old Amy Elizabeth Waldrep and her daughter Penelope Ann Miller (pictured).

Waldrep is 20 years old and her baby is 10 months old.  

According to her family, Waldrep suffers from Asperger’s Syndrome and police are unsure of her mental state or well-being. She was last seen at her residence on Wdnesday. Police said her family has no reason to believe she would leave, as she has not left without notice before, nor was she involved in an argument.

Waldrep is approximately 5-foot-3, 110 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen at 11 a.m. Wednesday with a short white male. Police will resume the search for Waldrep and her child on Thursday at 7:30 a.m.
