
As the headline says, today Mauldin Patch turns six months and if nothing else the occasion is an excuse to say "thanks" to the thousands of people who have made us a regular part of their day.
We've published over 1,000 stories--that's about six per day and we've sent out almost 2,500 tweets on Twitter, that's more than 12 per day. We've been busy, but so has Mauldin.

Not long after that, the University of South Carolina won its second straight College World Series title and Mauldin's own Scott Wingo was named the Most Outstanding Player. Wingo was recognized for his accomplishments . Later, we kept close watch as Wingo in Arizona and then in Ogden, UT.
