Mauldin Resident Being Investigated For Child Pornography
Investigation launched by out of state officials

Mauldin Police were notified on Dec. 12 that an investigation by the Alabama Bureau of Investigation into the possession and distribution of child pornography had included an address in Mauldin.
Due to the nature of the investigation and the fact that it is ongoing, no further details are being released at this time.
The following incidents were reported by the Mauldin Police Department. They do not indicate a conviction:

Dec. 16
An individual was charged with simple assault at .

A burglary was reported at 70 Ridgestone Circle.
Vandalism and trespassing were reported at .
Dec. 17
An individual was charged with driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana at (Kellett’s).
An individual was charged with driving under the influence at Corn Road and Legare Street. The individual was also charged with resisting arrest.
An individual was charged with disorderly conduct at 901 N. Main St.
Dec. 18
An individual was charged with driving under the influence at 411 W. Butler Road (Olive Tree Restaurant).
Dec. 19
Disorderly conduct charges were filed at 104 Drury Lane.
