MHS Ready for Fallin' for Mauldin Tomorrow

Will mark the kickoff to charity drive for building dreams mentoring

Tomorrow night the entire Mauldin community is invited to the Fallin’ for Mauldin tailgate festival at Mauldin High School. The festival will mark the unveiling of MHS’ year-long partnership with the Building Dreams Mentoring Program, which will officially take place at halftime of the football game between Mauldin and Westside.

Building Dreams has been chosen as the beneficiary of Mauldin Spirit Week from January 27 to February 3, 2012. The charity provides mentors and services to youth that are affected by incarceration at home or in their neighborhoods. Over the past decade, Mauldin High School has given back nearly one million dollars to Upstate non-profits through its annual Spirit Week for charity.

The community is invited to celebrate the event by bringing their own tent to the tailgate. They should also stop by each class’ themed tailgate which will have food, games and entertainment.
