New I-385 Traffic Pattern Begins Tonight
The latest change should be in effect until mid-March

The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) announced a lane change for the ongoing project to widen I-385. Starting this evening SCDOT plans to switch the collector road traffic from Butler Road South to the new concrete pavement.
The switch is necessary so that concrete paving can be perfromed from Bridges Road South and to begin the construction of the noise wall.
The process of moving the traffic switch will occur at night. Drivers choosing to use Butler Road South are encouraged to drive with caution. Once the shift process is complete, traffic will continue to flow through the lanes with traffic control devices placed between the traffic land and construction zone.
