No Changes in Security Planned at Football Games
There were two incidents, one before and one during last week's home football game

There are no plans to change security in light of two separate incidents at the Mauldin-Hillcrest football game last Friday, according to Oby Lyles director of communications for Greenville County Schools.
As Mauldin Patch , there was a drug-related arrest in the parking lot prior to the game.
During the game, a fight broke out between three high school students, two from Mauldin and one from a district outside of Greenville County. A fourth boy from Mauldin intervened. All four were arrested by Mauldin Police at the scene.

The three Mauldin students were subsequently suspended for an undisclosed amount of time.
No firearms were involved in either of the two incidents, nor were there middle school students involved.

The next home game for Mauldin is at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 16 against Westside.
