PHOTO GALLERY: All Occasion Celebrations Hosts Wine and Dinner Pairing

Treated to mid-week fine dining

On Thursday evening conneisseurs of fine dining and wine were given a special treat at in Mauldin. Chef Bill McClellan based out of Spartanburg and Southern Wine and Spirits in Greer provided the food and drink respectively. Guests were treated to wines around the world from Pasternak Imports. After an Italian champagne welcome, the menu featured the following:

Salad Course:
Micro Baby Greens with cranberries and candied pecans tossed in a lite raspberry vinegar dressing
Wine:Trumpeter Torrontes, Argentina

Appetizer Course:
Bacon wrapped Scallop w a spicy apricot chutney
Wine: Los Vascos Sauvignon Blanc, Chile

Main Course:
Dry Aged New York Strip with Au gratin Potatoes and Asparagus
Wine: Les Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) Special Reserve Red, Bordeaux, France

Dessert Course:
Creme Brulee with candied ginger and Mixed Berries
Wine: Penfolds Club Port, Australia
