Police Blotter - Jan. 6-8

The following information was provided by Mauldin Police. It does not indicate a conviction:

Jan. 6

An individual was charged with assault and battery at 10 Moore Street.

A theft was reported from a motor vehicle on 30 Windrush Lane.

Malicious damage charges were filed at 303 North Main Street.

An individual was charged with public drunkenness at the ,

Jan. 7

An individual was charged with armed robbery at 1011 West Butler Road (Glen Eagle Apartments).

An individual was charged with simple possession of marijuana and driving under the influence at Edgewood and North Main Street.

An individual was charged with criminal domestic violence at 299 Miller Drive.

Jan. 8

An individual was charged with burglary at 508 Flander Court.

Thefts were reported from motor vehicles at 111 Royal Oak Road and 118 Royal Oak Court (see below).

Larceny charges were filed at 201 Pinehurst Drive.

An individual was charged with driving violating open container laws and driving under the influence at East Butler Road and Verdin.

An individual was charged with criminal domestic violence at 123 Carlton Drive.

Mauldin Police also sent out the following notice:

While on routine patrol on Sunday evening, officers encountered several individuals walking about in the Forrester Woods area of the City. When approached, these persons ran from officers and although a perimeter was set up in the area, the unknown persons were able to elude capture. A search of the immediate area uncovered two auto break-ins on Royal Oak Road. This event occurred around 1:40 am.
