Police News: Business Liaison Introduced; New Officer Sworn In
Adam Wilson and Ralph Bobo met city council on Monday
On Monday night Mauldin Police Chief Bryan Turner introduced two of his staff members to the city council. One person who was introduced was new to the force, while the other has been on board for several years.
The new staff member was Ralph Bobo, formerly of the Simpsonville police force. He was sworn in by Turner and Judge Angela Martin.
Turner also introduced Cpl. Adam Wilson as the Business Liaison Officer. Wilson has recently started working closely with the business community. Turner said Wilson is forging relationships with businesses in Mauldin as a proactive measure. "If we can provide basic safety tips like letting businesses know how to handle a late night money drop or how to keep their property safe, we are going to do that," Turner said. "We don't want the first time a business talks to us to be after a crime has been committed."
