Recap: April 16 Meeting of Mauldin City Council
Monthly meeting was streamed live by Mauldin Patch.

The first speaker during the public comment period at last night's City Council meeting complained that the deadline for the business license fee, which was April 15, fell on a Sunday this year. The speaker said that when she came to City Hall to pay the fee on Monday the 16th, she was charged a late fee and a processing fee.
By the end of the session, the speaker found out that those fees will likely be reimbursed.
The highlight of a packed agenda at Monday’s City Council meeting was an amendment that would allow the deadline for business license fees to be moved to the following business day in the event it should fall on a weekend, as was the case this year.
