Trey Gowdy today released a new video that highlights the work he did in 2011 on House Oversight and Government Reform Subcommittee on Health Care, District of Columbia, Census and the National Archives. The subcommittee has examined the effects of the impact of health care reform, focused on security, transportation, and education issues in the District of Columbia, and investigated abuses of Medicaid eligibility. One of the key accomplishments of the subcommittee was the reauthorization of the DC Opportunity Scholarship Program, which provides scholarships for low-income students to attend the private school of their choice.
