Student-related announcements this week:
In case parents have missed it, football sing-ups are ongoing at the Mauldin Sports Center through July 29. Youngsters between age 6-12 who live in Mauldin can sign up for tackle football for a fee of $70. For those living outside of Mauldin the fee is $95.
Youngsters aged 5-6 and 13-14 can sign up for FLAG Football for $50. Call 864.288.3354 for more information.

Orientation for Navy Junior ROTC is Monday August 1 through Wednesday 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. All students taking Navy JROTC for the first time are strongly encouraged to attend. Those attending should bring a sack lunch and water.

The Spartanburg Herald-Journal reported that teachers from Mauldin Middle School received CATCH (Coordinated Approach to Child Health) training recently. They will be the first schools in the nation to implement the CATCH program. For more info click here.
