School Notes: Langston Charter Middle School

Optional Math Diagnostic Testing – An optional, free math diagnostic for all rising sixth grade students who have been accepted to Langston for next school year is being held Thursday, April 18 at 4:00pm and Saturday, April 20 at 10:00am. No registration is necessary, just come to the lobby of the school on the chosen day of testing. 

Second Washington DC Payment Due – A second payment of $200 is due Friday, April 12 for seventh graders who are going on the eighth grade trip to Washington DC next school year.  

Advanced Writing Class for High School Students – A SAT and college prep advanced writing class is being offered this summer at Langston Charter Middle School for rising and current high school students.  Cost is $125, plus a $25 registration fee; dates and times to be determined.  The class is taught by Langston English teacher, Rachel Hamilton, and she may be contacted at rhamilton@langstoncharter.org.   

Box Tops Contest – A new Box Tops contest is currently being held between Langston girls and boys.  Students must turn their Box Tops in to their homeroom teacher.
