Gift Cards Needed for Teacher Appreciation Week!

PTSA will be celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week May 6th-10th. PTSA would like to have gift cards as door prizes for our teachers/staff during this week and we are hoping you can help! The cards can be in any amount and some examples include: gas, movies, Target, Wal-Mart, or restaurants.

If you can help, please send in gift cards to the front office with the dollar amount noted and marked, “Teacher Appreciation - Sue Ann Scott” written on the outside. Thank you in advance for your generosity and your support. If you have any questions please call 608-0022.

It's Time to Register for Explore the Arts at the Fine Arts Center

Explore the Arts! will be offered at The Fine Arts Center from June 17 - 21. Classes are from 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. Offerings include classes for rising elementary and middle school students in Painting on Canvas, Drama, Sculpture, Guitar, Drums & Shakers, Japanese Art, Creative Writing, Ballet, Drum Set & Snare Drum, and Cartooning. High school and adult workshops are offered in Printmaking, Digital Photography, Metals, and Ballet.

The cost to attend is $125 for the elementary and middle school program and $150 for the high school, college, and adult workshops. Some partial scholarships are available. Click HERE for the Elementary/Middle application; and HERE for the High School/Adult application.

Volunteer This Summer With the Greenville Health System

The Greenville Health System is currently accepting applications for summer 2013 teen volunteers. Applications can be picked up outside Ms. Laurie Gallego's office  B115, and are due to GHS by May 1st.
