Seven Greenville County Schools seniors have been named semifinalists through the National Achievement Scholarship Program.
The high school seniors are among 1,600 high school seniors in the Achievement Scholarship competition to receive the honor.

- Bonnie O. Harris-Lowe and Matthew I. Little — J.L. Mann High Academy
- Maegan E. Seawright — Hillcrest High
- Kathryn B. Jones, Myron J. Reese, and Brittany A. Walker — Mauldin High
- Brandon T. Byrd — Wade Hampton High
These scholastically talented young men and women now have an opportunity to continue in the competition for approximately 800 Achievement Scholarship awards, worth more than $2.5 million, to be offered next spring.
