Special Career Fair Slated for Tuesday
Career training opportunity event set for McAlister Square. Event organizer boasts high job placement rates.
A special career fair and training opportunity will take place Tuesday at McAlister Square in Greenville.
The event is being hosted by Career Skills Now. As opposed to a traditional job fair, this event will attempt to sign up people for 11-week courses to train them for jobs in the state's growing transportation manufacturing sector, according to a WSPA report.
The 11-week courses provide classroom and hands-on training. Career Skills Now boasts that it places 80 percent of trainees in jobs.
