Spinx Acquires Mauldin's Pumper's Convenience Store
The North Main Street store will be rebranded in the next few months.

The Pumper's retail gas and convenience store on North Main Street in Maudin has been purchased by Greenville-based Spinx.
The store, located at 627 North Main/US 276, will be rebranded into a Spinx store within the next two to three months.
In addition to the Mauldin store, Spinx also bought two other Pumper's stores, located at 461 S. Pleasantburg Drive and 400 Haywood Road in Greenville.
The three stores were the last ones owned by Pumper's Premium Stores, Inc., according to GSA Business. Pumper's officials declined to discuss the company's future, the business paper reported.
“These three stores are great additions to The Spinx Co.'s operations and we're excited to make them a part of our continued growth. These stores are located in great areas and allow us to fill in our core market footprint,” Spinx President and CEO Steve Spinks said in a news release.
The Spinx Co. now owns and operates 69 convenience retails stores in the Carolinas with the acquisition.
