A vehicle found Monday morning in a parking lot near is related to a series of crimes in Duncan.
According to Mauldin Police Det. Ben Ford, plates for the red Toyota Corolla showed up stolen when an officer doing a routine check of the area noticed it had been abandoned and checked the license plate.
The car is believed to belong to the victim or a relative of the victim of a caracking, robbery and kidnapping in Duncan on Friday morning at the McDonalds on East Main Street.

Ford said Mauldin Police processed the vehicle and have returned it to the owner.
