Completing Registration for the 2012-2013 School Year
Students should have completed requesting courses for next year. Counselors will begin the process of checking and fine tuning requests over the next few weeks. Once completed, students will receive a Student Course Request Letter that will show all requested courses. Parents and students will be required to sign the letter indicating that all is correct. The date the letters will go home will be publicized soon. Students no longer have access to the portal registration icon. Students must see counselors if there are problems.

The Mavs Booster Club Needs Volunteers
The MAVS Booster Club provides $75,000 worth of support for all of our athletes at Mauldin. Funds from the Booster Club provide uniforms for teams every three years, equipment for the weight room and athletic facilities, upkeep of all of our fields, as well as entrance fees to tournaments. Funds are raised primarily though the membership drive in the fall, corporate sponsorships, concession sales, and MAV wear sales. We are currently seeking the following officers for the 2012 - 2013 school year.
Treasurer - We need someone with a strong accounting background to handle our funds.
Secretary - Takes minutes and sends out notices to all booster club reps.
MAV Wear – Need one or two people to handle sales of Mauldin MAV Wear. Shawn Price is willing to train the volunteers who take over this position.
VP Communications - Keeps the front page of GOMAVS up and running. This is vital for sports information and school pride.
Please contact one of the following nominating committee members if you are interested in any of the positions above.
