MHS Band Success
The Mauldin High School Band competed in the SCBDA State Concert Festival for a ranking.
Competing in class 5 - out of 6
The band received a Superior rating. A superior rating is the highest rating and given to only the best concert bands in our state.

As a result of the success, earning the highest rating at State Marching Championships, placing large numbers in Region and All-State Bands, and receiving the highest rating at Concert Festival, the band has only one more hurdle before earning the highest honor South Carolina bands can possibly receive---The Outstanding Performance Award.

If the band earns this prestigious Outstanding Performance Award, this will make the 8th year in a row of being officially called one of South Carolina Best Band Programs.
