Shining Stars is a tutoring service like no other. Teachers are certified teachers in their fields. We tutor pre k all the way into college. We also are trained to work with kids with all disabilities. Kids with autism, ADD,ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalcula and Down’s syndrome. We also offer social skills classes and life skills classes for teens and adults with disabilities.

Despite the piercing chill, thousands of children and their parents descended on Sunset Park in Mauldin on Tuesday night for the city's second-annual Egg Drop. Kids from throughout the Golden Strip and Upstate scrambled for goodie-filled eggs dropped from a helicopter — more than 50,000 eggs in all. Check out our photo gallery of the event.
