Shining Stars is a tutoring service like no other. Teachers are certified teachers in their fields. We tutor pre k all the way into college. We also are trained to work with kids with all disabilities. Kids with autism, ADD,ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalcula and Down’s syndrome. We also offer social skills classes and life skills classes for teens and adults with disabilities.

The Mauldin High School Marching Maverick Band competed Saturday at the Boiling Springs High School Festival of Bands. The students performed their show "Requiem" for the first competition of the year. Out of 34 bands in the competition, Mauldin won first place for color guard, second place for visual execution, third place for percussion, fourth place for visual and musical effect, and seventh place for music execution.
