VIDEO: Mauldin Mayor Don Godbey On How the Political Process Affects the Economy
After spending the day at an ASCM event and hearing Senator DeMint speak.
Mauldin Mayor Don Godbey was among the several dozen in attendance on Wednesday when Senator Jim DeMint visited Simpsonville.
Godbey had just returned from the first ever membership meeting of the Association of South Carolina Mayors (ASCM). The group was created, in part, to help the state’s mayors communicate with each other about issues that matter to all of them. Topic A was the economic outlook for the state's towns.
Godbey spent a few minutes with Mauldin Patch talking about the ASCM as well as Senator DeMint.
