VIDEO: Trey Gowdy Looks Back at His First Year in Office

Last week Patch had a chance to sit down and talk with Congressman Trey Gowdy (R-4) about a wide range of issues, both local and national.

Over the next several days Patch will run a series of excerpts from the interview.

Today, Gowdy talks about the expectations he had as he entered the Congress after winning election last November.

He talks about how the other three freshman congressional member from South Carolina helped him make the transition from a position in the judiciary branch to one that is legislative. He also discusses his committee appointments and how he chose them, or in one case, how they chose him.
