Things got bad pretty fast at about 5:30 tonight when the skies opened up. Rush hour traffic on Butler Road and Main Street came to a virtual halt. There did not appear to be any accidents as drivers opted to move along slowly.
One casualty was the outdoor dining table which is pictured. It probably wasn't meant to be opened in the middle of East Butler Road, but that's what happens when a flash thunderstorm strikes.
Hopefully, the owners of the box are safe and the merchant will understand and provide them with a replacement.
