Shining Stars is a tutoring service like no other. Teachers are certified teachers in their fields. We tutor pre k all the way into college. We also are trained to work with kids with all disabilities. Kids with autism, ADD,ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalcula and Down’s syndrome. We also offer social skills classes and life skills classes for teens and adults with disabilities.

This Saturday figures to be one of the busiest days of the year in Mauldin, between the , the and the 2nd Annual Wellness Fair. The bash and the season opener are both happening in Sunset Park. Just down Mauldin Road, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Knights of Columbus Hall Sargent Chiropractic will be helping people get healthy. Dr. Jared Sargent will provide free chiropractic screenings and representatives from Hillcrest Hospital will offer free blood pressure screenings. Visitors can also donate blood via the Blood Connection and be eligible for door prizes and giveaways. Visitors get in for $2 or free with two canned goods. Children under five get in free. All proceeds go to benefit Knights of Columbus charities.
