The reigning Colege World Series Most Outstanding Player went two for two last night with a homerun and a single. He drove home three runs and reached base in his two other plate appearances by being hit by pitch. The only downside was that his Ogden Raptors suffered a 7-4 loss.
After a slow start Wingo has gone eight for his last 19 to lift his average to .216. The Raptors take on Helena again tonight at 9 p.m. local time.
