Woodruff Exchange Club Honors First Responders
Recognizing those who put their lives in dangers in the name of service
The Woodruff Road Exchange Club held their Ninth Annual Recognition of the Greenville Area First Responders Dinner this past Tuesday at the Pelham-Batesville Fire Dept on Highway 14 in Greer. Community Service Chairman, Phil Chartier presented the awards, assisted by the club's President, William Marcus. The honorees were nominated by their respective Departments.
The following first responders were recipients of the awards:
Roger S. Dobbs….Emergency Medical Technician, Greenville County Emergency Medical Services

Bob “Doc” Flintom, who lost his life July, 2010 – Pelham-Batesville Fire Dept, who served 30 years of his life to Firefighting.
Senior Trooper Jamie M. Tyner – SC Hwy Patrol
Law Enforcement Officer David Hibbard – Fountain Inn Police Dept.
