A Break From The Rain

Record rainfall soaks Lowcountry; dry conditions predicted for the rest of the week.

February 2013 is one for the weather record books. The Charleston area recorded the largest amount of rain in history when 10.5 inches of rain pelted the region.

Here's the good news: There isn't much chance for rain for the rest of this month. The bad news: We'll finish out February and start March with temperatures 15 to 20 degrees lower than normal.

Forecasters predict sunny or party cloudy skies for the rest of this week. And temperatures should warm up throughout March.
