An federal prosecutor was found dead over the weekend in the parking lot of a medical office building in Mount Pleasant.
Authorities say the death of Alston Calhoun Badger, 51, is not suspicious, though there was a firearm found near Badger's remains, according to the Post and Courier. No cause of death has been discovered.
Badger has been a prosecutor in the Lowcountry since the 1980s. A Friday funeral is planned, according to his obituary.
