Boaters Find Jawbone Under Ravenel Bridge
Police turn over skeletal remains to coroner for testing.

Two boaters on the Cooper River discovered what appeared to be human remains over the weekend, according to a Mount Pleasant police report.
The men told police they were on the Cooper River searching for bottles on Saturday when they discovered what appeared to be a human jawbone near Drum Island, according to the report.
The responding officer confirmed that the remains did look a human jawbone, but the skeletal remains needed further testing. Police collected the evidence and turned it over the Charleston County Coroner for testing.
