Boone Hall's annual corn maze and pumpkin patch opens to the public Oct. 1.
The Mount Pleasant tourist attraction features an 8-acre maze, a pumpkin patch, amusements for the kids, and it also marks the beginning of Boone Hall Fright Nights.
Previous mazes have promoted Mount Pleasant, South Carolina tourism and the Charleston-made Boeing 787. This year, the maze promotes Live 5 News, the local CBS affiliate TV station.
