Chesterbrook Academy Students Donate $800 to Children in Need

Students held an art auction and lemonade stand to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Mount Pleasant recently raised more than $800 for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Charleston through an art auction and lemonade stand. Students auctioned off their artwork and sold lemonade to their fellow students, families, staff and teachers. The donated funds will help the organization provide a “home-away-from-home” for children undergoing extensive medical treatment in Charleston. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping children in need and spreading kindness.
