Chilling 911 Call: 'I'm Going to Kill Every One of Them'
Man killed in police standoff gave police a clear warning.
The man shot and killed by a Mount Pleasant Police SWAT team on Sept. 18 made a clear threat to police, according to a 911 call released Friday.
Richard Cathcart had a history of mental illness and had been drinking before he threatened to shoot his wife and a neighbor, according to 911 calls.
When police arrived to confront the man, they got no answer. Cathcart apparently did not speak to officers when they called his home and cell phone, but he did call police himself.
