Chipotle Cancels Plans for Mount Pleasant Location

Mount Pleasant residents delighted last year when burrito chain Chipotle announced plans for a location at Towne Centre, but now it appears the fast-food chain has canceled plans to locate here.

The restaurant told the City Paper that it has no plans to locate here, despite stating last year that it would locate one shop in Mount Pleasant in addition to its recently opened location in North Charleston.
