The body found Wednesday in a Mount Pleasant pond has been identified as Charlotte Small, 51, according to the Charleston County Coroner.
A 19-year-old man discovered the body Wednesday while walking his dog, according to a police incident report.
Officers wrote that there was no outward, obvious signs of trauma on the woman's body, but that she appeared to have been deceased for some time. She was wearing a white night gown, the report states.
