Cupcakes to Fight Cancer

How would you like to win a year’s supply of cupcakes and help fight breast cancer?

During the month of October, Cupcake will bake a number of golden tickets into their special pink cupcakes. Customers who are fortunate enough to pick the special “golden ticket” treat will win a dozen cupcakes every month for a year.

Everybody’s a winner, though, because every purchase of a special pink cupcake yields a $1 donation from Cupcake to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Customers can also donate to the cause in-store at any Cupcake location, and receive a dollar off coupon toward a future visit.

Besides raising money for the cause, Team Cupcake will also be participating in
the Race for Cure walk/run on Saturday, Oct. 20. Guests are invited to visit Facebook at www.facebook/freshcupcakes or on Twitter at @freshcupcakes to view the bakery's progress. Plus, read how others have been touched by breast cancer throughout the month.

Cupcake serves nine flavors a day, 7 days a week at three locations: one at the Vista in Columbia at 1213 Lincoln Street, at Belle Hall Shopping Center on 644 Long Point Road in Mount Pleasant and downtown Charleston at 433 King Street.
