From folk tales to ghost tales, enjoy some of the best national and local storytellers as they inspire, amuse and delight audiences with stories that reminisce about childhood, tickle your funny bone and transport you to another place and time.
Join others for the inaugural Charleston Tells Storytelling Festival under the moss-draped oaks in Wragg Square, and the adjacent Second Presbyterian Church, in downtown Charleston for these must-see performances plus musical entertainment and special programs for the whole family.
Similar to listening to Garrison Keillor’s Prairie Home Companion or being entertained by a great comedian, Charleston Tells offers audiences the opportunity to hear some great performances while celebrating the art and historical importance of storytelling.
