Is the New Johnnie Dodds an Improvement?

Still lacking synched traffic signals, most of the improvements are in place.

Mount Pleasant's long municipal struggle with the orange traffic barrels is coming to a close, and though the 10-mile stretch of Johnnie Dodds Boulevard still has some tweaks left imcomplete, it's substantially finished.

Town traffic leaders still are working to synch all the traffic lights along Hwy. 17, which when complete will allow motorists (in most circumstances) to drive non-stop from Wando High School to the Ravenel Bridge in a platoon of vehicles.
