McGrath Darby Changes Permanent Tonight
Drivers can't make right turn onto Hwy. 17 from boulevard.

Beginning 11 p.m. tonight, Charleston County Government will make permanent changes to the intersection of McGrath Darby Boulevard and Johnnie Dodds Boulevard (U.S. Highway 17) as part of the Johnnie Dodds Boulevard Improvements Project in Mt. Pleasant.
Details of the permanent changes that will occur on Sept. 17 are:
• Drivers on McGrath Darby Boulevard will only be able make right turns onto Johnnie Dodds Boulevard. In other words, traffic on McGrath Darby Boulevard will no longer be able to turn left onto Johnnie Dodds Boulevard or go straight through the intersection.
• Drivers on Johnnie Dodds Boulevard will still be able to make left and right turns onto McGrath Darby Boulevard and go straight through the intersection.
